Shiny new things!!!

At last the kitchen goes in! Now it's getting really exciting!

Soooooooo....the plan is to move in tomorrow so I'll be sleeping with my fingers tightly crossed that the last jobs go alright.

It's all white!

After a weekend away in dorset I returned to a white wonderland!...including Neal!

Getting close, getting there

After a manic week and or so I can now happily show where we're at. Starting with downstairs.....

New French doors in place and more boarded walls.

 The pantry wall has gone ready for the new wall dividing the kitchen and future cloakroom.

Those who know how many troubles we've had in the last week or so will appreciate how pleased we are to get to this point and what a FANTASTIC job Neal's been doing!!!!!! He's not broken himself yet...but he's had a darned good attempt!!! 

Time for a CGI Moment

...and here's a Photoshop idea of what it could look like. It's bound to change a lot but we've got to start visualising somehow!

Who knows what we'll end up with but I'm sure we'll love it!

Walls Come Tumbling Down!

We have a dirty great big hole in the wall (that's meant to be there for a change!).

Looking into the kitchen..............and from the kitchen into the dining room.

The hole where the French doors will go until phase 2 and the boiler flu has been removed.

Today the archway came down! Apologies to those said "ooh, I like the arch!"...we told you it was going!
