Squares on our stairs!

At last we finally have some squares on our stairs!!! They've been this summer's job so here's what we've been up to...

After a LOT of sanding and priming by Neal I finally have evidence of me painting something in the house! Cutting in matt black against gloss white on uneven woodwork...NOT easy but I think I pulled it off!!

And now they look like this! As you can see we still need quite a few more squares but we'll get there. Also check out the sexy white painted doors!!

The kids have personalised squares- 'Jasmine V' in the middle below and 'L' and 'V' for Lewie just visible on the bottom step. Thanks to mum for the flower squares middle left and bottom right and to those who've also contributed square that we'll add to the next steps.

Neal's feeling a bit of board!

The wibbly wobbly fence is taking shape in the front garden. Our neighbour wasn't sure about it at first but is now cool with it and plans to be out there tomorrow with his paintbrush! A few passers by have commented too...Neal just needs to finish it off a bit though.
